Project Summary：
The project is located at the riverside Dongfanghong village of Sanmao Town in Yangzhong City, and covers an area of 1000-plus mu, and aimed at establishing a comprehensive sci-tech demonstration garden integrating breeding of special aquaculture, catering, tourism and sightseeing and demonstration of science dissemination, specifically consisting of the 500 mu base of special aquaculture, 100 mu base of breeding and reproducing hilsa herring, and 2000㎡ recreational facilities. |
| Project Preliminary Proposal & Work Progress in the First-phase
Presently the area for breeding special aquaculture reaches 200 mu, and the garden has specially recruited 3 professors from Shanghai Aquaculture University as technical experts. Including Prof. Zheng Bainian, whose research on technologies of artificially reproducing hilsa herring and breeding young fries won the second prize of State Ministry of Agriculture. Besdies, the garden has invested 2 million US dollars in establishing an office building integrating office, hotel and catering, and the 100 mu base for reproducing and breeding special aquaculture. The project may adopt the forms of solo investment or joint venture
