   镇江瑞京农业科技示范园建于2002年4月，占地面积400余亩，由科技信息中心、园艺生产区、休闲观光区组成，现有蔬菜50亩，果树100亩，花卉苗木100亩。瑞京园经过近二年的运作，已初步形成了集科普、示范与休闲观光为一体的生态农业观光园。目前科普体验、果蔬采摘区拥有1000平方米的科技信息培训楼，3000平方米的现代化玻璃温室，60座单体钢架大棚，100立方米的保鲜库及200平方米的包装车间，已注册的“瑞京”牌系列蔬菜每天供应各大超市。休闲度假区拥有一个大厅、50个包厢、8个棋牌室，露天网球场、室内羽毛球场各一个，能接待会议、住宿、餐饮、休闲等活动。每年接待游客近3万人次。

   The project aims at making full use of the available resources and establish a new-type farming industry demonstration zone integrating with production, living, ecology, production & marketing of farm products, processing of farm products, and farming tourism and services.　

   Established in April, 2002 and covering an area of 400-plus mu, Ruijing Farming Technology Demonstration Garden of Zhenjiang City consists of Sci-tech Information Center, Horti-culture Production Zone and Leisure-seeking & Soghtseeing Zone, and currently owns 50mu vegetable base, 100 mu fruit tree base and 100 mu flower and seedling base. After two years’ operation, an ecological agricultural sightseeing garden integrating with scientific dissemination, demonstration and sightseeing of farming technologies has been established. In addition, numerous modern facilities like 1000㎡ sci-tech information training building, 3000㎡ glass green house, 60 steel-structured sheds, 100 cubic meters freshness-preservation stockroom and 200㎡ package workshop. Every day the serial vegetables of “Ruijing” brand, which has been registered, are sold in various marts. The leisure & vocation zone is made up of a hall, 50 boxes, 8 chess rooms, an outdoor tennis court and an indoor badminton court, which can host meetings, accommodation, catering services and leisure-seeking. Each year the garden receives some 30,000 persons-time.
